While it is still a few months before the EURO 2020 soccer cup kicks off, some teams are already being touted as the top teams in the tournament.
After all, when you look at their performances over the last four years, as well as their past performances in the EURO Cup, it is easy to pick out some of the teams that are likely to do well.
Spain — Always one of the competition’s heavy hitters, Spain qualified for EURO 2020 in October by winning Group F.
They are already thought to be one of the top teams due to their past performance in previous EURO Cups and due to their current player’s performances this season.
Germany — It is rare when Germany does not make it into the EURO Cup and even more rare when they do not do well. This is why Germany is already classified as one of the top teams due to its easy win in Group C.
Germany has also not won the EURO Cup since 1996 and is getting hungry for a win. If the team continues to play as they have been, 2020 could be their year.
Portugal — Last year’s winner, and the runner-up of Group B, Portugal is expected to do well in EURO 2020.
The team has been a participant in the EURO Cup fewer times than teams like Germany and Spain but, when they have participated, they have done well.
England — England almost always goes into every tournament as one of the top teams yet does not seem to be able to keep that promise going through the entire EURO Cup.
This is evidenced when you look at the English team’s past performances, with nine appearances in the tournament but no wins.
England could surprise in 2020 and is still classified as one of the top teams. If you will be bursa taruhan betting on the tournament, however, you may want to hold off betting on England until later in the tournament when you can properly assess how well they are doing.
The Netherlands — A team that always plays to win, the Netherlands is one of the top teams again this year going into EURO 2020.
While only the runner-up in Group C, the Netherlands tends to do extremely well when in the heat of an important game. The last time they won the EURO Cup was in 1988, so they are definitely due for a win.
Top teams change — If you will be betting on EURO 2020, remember the top teams change as the tournament progresses.
